Overview

This sailing cruise on the Schooner Clearwater offers a two-hour trip departing from Clearwater Beach. Guests meet at Clearwater Beach Municipal Marina and must check in 45 minutes before departure to receive boarding passes and attend a safety briefing. The schooner is a 52-foot custom steel sailing vessel operated by a USCG credentialed captain and crew. After leaving the marina, the crew raises the sails while navigating through Clearwater Pass between Sand Key and Clearwater Beach barrier islands. Once offshore, the engine is turned off, and the boat sails under wind power. Passengers can view Clearwater Beach from the water and may see bottlenose dolphins near the schooner. The cruise includes complimentary chilled sparkling water and offers an authentic sailing experience. Alcoholic drinks are not included, and tipping the licensed crew is customary. The tour is not suitable for children under five, guests over 275 pounds, or those with mobility or balance difficulties.
