Overview

This scuba diving program in Riviera Maya is designed for beginners and those who have never dived before. It takes place in Playa del Carmen and lasts about 45 minutes. The activity begins with a theoretical class covering basic scuba skills. After the class, participants practice diving in shallow reef waters approximately 2.5 meters deep. All necessary scuba equipment is provided, including a mask, regulator, compensator vest, fins, and lead belt. One tank of air is included for the entire session. Purified bottled water is offered after the dive. The program includes shared transportation between the hotel and marina at scheduled times, a bilingual English-Spanish guide, and insurance coverage. Participants also receive free access to Maroma Beach with use of the beach club facilities. Dock fees must be paid separately at the marina upon check-in. Lockers, food, beverages, souvenirs, and private transportation are not included. The minimum age to participate is 10 years. Diving with SCUBA equipment for people who do not have a certification as an open water diver, in just 45 minutes they will learn the basics to be able to practice and then dive in waters of the Mexican Caribbean. Activity for anyone who does not have enough time to take a certification course but still wants to know the bottom of the ocean, in 3 simple steps they can achieve it; theoretical lesson, practical in shallow reef and recreational diving.
