Overview
This one-day scuba diving experience from Koh Chang is designed for beginners who have never dived before. The day starts with hotel pickup and a boat trip from Koh Chang to the dive site. On board, participants receive an introduction to basic diving skills and safety procedures. The first dive takes place in shallow water, where participants practice essential safety techniques and get comfortable underwater. After returning to the boat, lunch is served along with tea, coffee, and carbonated beverages. In the afternoon, there is a second dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters. The entire activity lasts about eight hours and includes a professional guide, all scuba equipment, lunch, drinks, and hotel transfer. Entrance fees for the national park are not included. This program can also be used as the first day of the PADI Open Water course. Participants must complete a health questionnaire before diving, and diving within 18 hours of flying is not recommended.

Dive-shop and boat transfer
The day begins at the dive shop where participants try on scuba gear, fill out a registration form, and meet their instructor. Then, they board the boat to travel to dive locations near Koh Chang. During the boat ride, the instructor covers basic scuba skills, safety guidelines, and what to expect underwater. At the first site, the dive starts in shallow water with simple exercises to help participants feel at ease before progressing. Two dives will be completed, each with a maximum depth of 12 meters, with the instructor closely supervising throughout. Depending on conditions, dives occur at coral reefs near Koh Chang or in Koh Rang National Marine Park, which requires an extra 400 THB entrance fee per diver.
