Overview

The Sea Cave Adventures 2-Hour Snorkeling Tour in Whitianga travels along more than 25 kilometers of volcanic coastline. The tour begins at Whitianga and follows a rugged coast covered in native bush. Participants will see three types of geological features: sea caves, twisting lava tubes, and towering volcanic arches, as well as nearby outer islands. Seasonal wildlife may also be observed during the trip. The tour includes the use of snorkeling equipment for those who choose to explore the water. Swimwear and towels are not provided and should be brought by participants if needed. The vessel is specially built to provide close views of the coastline and marine environments that other tours cannot reach.
