Book on Viator Confirmed right away, but you pay full price.$350The Sedona UFO and Stargazing Night Walking Tour lasts about one hour and forty-five minutes. It begins at the Alien Tour Shop where guests receive upgraded military-grade night vision goggles, shared in pairs by adults over eleven years old. The guide leads the group by vehicle past landmarks including Thunder Mountain Trailhead, Red Rock State Park near Red Rock Crossing, Crystal Magic Psychic Center, and the road leading to Amitabha Stupa and Peace Park, though the tour does not stop at the Stupa. The group arrives at a remote viewing location adjacent to Fay Canyon. There, guests use the night vision goggles to observe the night sky for unidentified flying objects moving in unusual patterns, as well as millions of stars, constellations, and occasional seasonal sightings of the Andromeda Galaxy. Adults over eighteen may use a star pointer to identify objects in the sky. Heaters are provided during winter months to keep guests warm. Children ten and under must share goggles with an adult and be assisted at all times, as they are not allowed to hold the goggles themselves. The tour requires walking on uneven terrain, so closed-toe shoes are necessary. Travelers must arrive thirty minutes before the tour for check-in and provide their own transportation to the Alien Tour Shop and viewing site, as no private transport or ride services are included. The tour does not operate near a full moon and may be rescheduled due to weather or cloud cover. Audio, video, and flash photography are not allowed during the tour. The start time may be adjusted based on sunset, sometimes by up to one hour later than originally scheduled. The tour involves standing and walking and is not recommended for those with mobility difficulties.
