The tour travels along Generals Highway, following the Kaweah River and passing through different plant zones, including the largest protected Blue Oak woodland. Along the route, participants will see the Great Western Divide mountains. The tour includes a one-hour stop at the General Sherman Tree, the largest tree on Earth. There is also a one-hour stop at Morro Rock, where visitors can optionally climb to the viewpoint. A 30-minute stop at Tunnel Log allows visitors to walk or drive under the fallen sequoia. Nearby, there is a walk along Auto Log to see another large fallen sequoia tree. A picnic lunch is provided near Crescent Meadow or another location depending on conditions. Lunch options include ham and cheese, turkey and cheese, tuna salad, vegetarian, or peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Snacks are included throughout the tour. The vehicle is air-conditioned. A Sequoia growing kit is given to each participant. Microspikes for shoes are available if needed. Park entry is included for U.S. residents with proof of residency. Non-U.S. residents aged 16 and older must pay the park entrance fee separately on the day of the tour. The tour requires a minimum of three participants to operate.
