Overview

The Aquarium of Seville presents marine life through the theme of Ferdinand Magellan's historic sea voyages. It holds more than 7,000 animals in 40 tanks featuring both freshwater and saltwater species. Visitors can explore five thematic zones named Guadalquivir, Atlántico, Amazonia, Pacífico, and Indopacífico, each representing different ocean environments from around the world. The aquarium includes the Iberian Peninsula’s deepest shark tank, which is 9 meters deep and houses sharks, sea turtles, and other marine creatures. Admission grants entry to the aquarium for a visit lasting between one and three hours. The ticket allows access up to one hour before closing to ensure enough time to see the exhibits.
