Riders start by learning how to operate the segway and receive safety equipment including a helmet. The guided segway tour lasts between 30 minutes and 3 hours and covers many of Seville’s main landmarks depending on the chosen duration. The route includes the Cathedral, Royal Alcazar, Plaza del Triunfo, Archive of Indies, the old tobacco factory, Plaza de España, Park María Luisa, and the pavilions from the 1929 Iberoamerican Expo. The tour also visits the Palace of San Telmo, Torre del Oro naval museum by the Guadalquivir River, and the neighborhood of Triana, known as the birthplace of flamenco. Along the way, the guide points out historical details about sites such as the Triana Bridge (Puente de Isabel II), Castillo San Jorge, Plaza América, and Alameda de Hércules. The commentary is live throughout the ride, led by a local monitor. Participants must provide their own transport to and from the start point. There is no hotel pickup unless selected as an option. Centro Historico de Sevilla
The guide takes guests around Seville’s historic center, covering the Cathedral, Royal Alcazar, Plaza del Triunfo, Archive of Indies, the old tobacco factory, Plaza de España, Park María Luisa, Plaza América, and the pavilions from the 1929 Iberoamerican Expo. Additional stops may include the Palace of San Telmo, Torre del Oro, the riverbank, Triana neighborhood, Castillo San Jorge, Calle Betis, Expo 1992 sites, Macarena, Alameda de Hércules, and Metropol Parasol depending on tour length.
Plaza del Triunfo
This central square hosts three important monuments declared UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the Cathedral, Royal Alcazar, and Archive of Indies. The guide provides historical details about each site while visiting on the segway.
Puerta de Jerez
Named after one of the former city gates, Puerta de Jerez no longer has the wall but retains the name. Nearby are the Hotel Alfonso XIII, the old tobacco factory, and the Palace of San Telmo, all visible during the tour.
Plaza de Espana
Constructed for the 1929 Expo, this large square features buildings representing South American countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, and Chile, plus the Plaza of America within María Luisa Park. The segway tour stops here to view these sites.
Torre Del Oro
A naval museum originally built in 1220 by the Almohads as a watchtower to monitor incoming boats. Known as the Tower of Gold, the guide shares detailed history while guests ride along the Guadalquivir River bank.
Triana
This neighborhood is recognized as the birthplace of flamenco. The tour passes the 1481 Inquisition prison, Triana Market, Church of St. Ana, and Church of Triana after crossing the Isabel II Bridge (Triana Bridge). The route returns via the San Telmo Bridge.
