The Glow Tour takes you through the mangrove tunnels of Shell Key Preserve at night. Your kayak’s LED lights illuminate the water and the overhead mangrove formations, while you listen for fish jumping and enjoy the ocean air. The tour guide leads the group through the waters and mangrove islands, pointing out wildlife such as fish, crustaceans, sharks, and birds. The kayaks are clear and equipped with LED lights, paddles, seats, lifejackets with whistles, and dry bags for your phone or keys. This tour is suited for people comfortable with night paddling and wildlife encounters. Wearing long sleeves, pants, and bug spray is recommended.
