Chengdu Furong National Essence Performing Arts Co., Ltd. (Furong National Essence), was founded in 2005. It is committed to the dissemination and development of Sichuan-Shu culture, creating landmark cultural tourism performances for the city. With sixteen years of dedication, it has created a Sichuan opera scene SHOW that combines classic and modern elements. It has won the honor of "Top Ten Private Performing Arts in Sichuan", and its actor team has traveled to many countries for exchange performances. Up to now, it has become one of the must-see performances in Chengdu! Since 2005, Furong National Essence has performed nearly 10,000 shows for domestic and foreign tourists at the "Jinjiang Theater," with every show sold out. To bring a better audio-visual experience to guests, Furong National Essence was completely upgraded in 2021. With more professional performance equipment, richer performance plots, and a more immersive viewing experience, it presents a brilliant Sichuan opera face-changing show - "Shu Opera Tops the World" - at the "Sichuan Provincial Sichuan Opera Theater" for tourists from all over the world. The opera tells the story of the enlightenment, apprenticeship, learning, becoming a leading actor, and inheritance that a Sichuan opera performer must experience, to find the commonality and experience of Sichuan opera performers. It incorporates classic Sichuan opera excerpts, Sichuan opera tunes, Sichuan opera stunts, drama, dialogue, special effects and other stage techniques for interpretation. The story of the master and apprentice is combined with the story of Sichuan opera for hundreds of years, so that the classics are close to modern times, and fashion dialogues with tradition. "Furong National Essence" is performed in the Jinjiang Theater, bringing together famous Dan and leading actors in the Chengdu Sichuan opera circle. It carefully arranges classic Sichuan opera repertoires, focusing on Sichuan opera stunts such as rolling lights, fire-spitting, and face-changing. Every night at the "Jinjiang Theater," it presents a wonderful "Sichuan Opera Stunt Variety Show" for the vast number of tourists visiting Sichuan. Good shows are upgraded to present the world with national essence classics.
