Adventure travelers, look no further! Siquijor, best known to locals as an island shrouded in mystery and the supernatural, also boasts of undisturbed beaches and virgin forests. During the colonial period, the Spaniards referred to Siquijor as Isla del Fuego (Island of Fire) because of the luminiscence produced by swarms of fireflies nestled among the foliage of molave trees. It will definitely be worth your while to discover what this quaint island has to offer! You'll be picked up from your hotel in Dumaguete in the morning to go to the pier and board a ferry bound for Siquijor Island. After a 90-minute journey, your island exploration begins with a quick stop at the St. Francis de Assisi Bell Tower and the St Vincent Bell Tower before heading up a hill to Triad Cafe for lunch.
