Overview

This Skagway Triple Combo Tour lasts about five hours and includes three main activities along the Klondike Highway. The tour begins with a guided overview of downtown Skagway. Then the group crosses the border into Canada, where Customs agents check passports on board the bus. The first stop in Canada is at the Welcome to the Yukon sign for about 15 minutes. Visitors can take photos and browse authentic goods sold by First Nations members. Next, the tour continues to the Yukon Suspension Bridge, where guests spend approximately one hour. At the bridge, visitors can walk across, enjoy views of the Tutshi River, and read historical markers along the boardwalk. A cafe, gift shop, and restrooms are available at this location. After the bridge, the tour proceeds to the Tutshi Sled Dog Camp for about 45 minutes. Visitors meet mushers and puppies in a large gated play area. The camp also has a small gift shop, snacks for purchase, and restrooms. On the return trip, there is a 15-minute photo stop at the summit of White Pass on the Klondike Highway, offering views of the surrounding area. Depending on timing and weather, there may be an additional stop at Pitchfork Falls, a 2,000-foot waterfall cascading into the Skagway River beneath a railroad bridge. Throughout the tour, the guide provides narration and points out sights along the route. Pickup and drop-off at the cruise ship docks are included. Lunch and gratuities are not included. A valid passport is required for crossing between the United States and Canada. The total tour time includes travel and stop durations.
