The Blessed Sacrament Chapel, designed by Churriguera, includes stained glass, carved choir stalls, and 16th- and 17th-century paintings such as a reredos by Juan de Juni depicting Christ’s deposition from the cross. From the southern transept, a door leads to the late-Gothic cloister, older than the cathedral itself, relocated from the old cathedral and designed by architect Juan Guas. Beneath the cloister pavement are the tombs of Juan and Rodrigo Gil de Hontañón, prominent figures in late Gothic architecture. Adjacent to the cloister is a small religious art museum housed partly in the chapter house, featuring a 17th-century Mudéjar-style ceiling, jewelry, paintings, and rare antique manuscripts. The ticket also includes free access to the Episcopal Palace of Segovia. The total visit takes about one to two hours.
