This half-day small group tour visits two family-run Champagne producers located in villages outside Reims. The tour lasts about four hours and runs either from 9am to 1pm or from 2pm to 6pm. The group size is limited to a maximum of eight people and the tour is conducted in English. Transportation is provided in Mercedes minivans with air conditioning. The tour begins with a visit to a Premier Cru Champagne grower, where participants receive an explanation of the production process and taste three different Champagnes. Next, the group stops at a vineyard viewpoint to take photos. The itinerary then continues with a visit to a second Champagne producer, either Premier or Grand Cru, including a brief tour and tasting of three more Champagnes. For afternoon departures only, the tour includes a visit to Hautvillers village to see the church where Dom Pérignon is buried and where Champagne was created. Entrance fees and tastings at both wineries are included. Hotel pickup and drop-off, lunch, personal expenses, and visits to larger Champagne houses such as Moët & Chandon or Veuve Clicquot are not included. This tour is for adults only; children and babies are not allowed. The meeting point is in front of the tourism office at the main train station in Reims.
