Overview

This two-hour kayak tour in Portimao takes small groups of up to 12 people from Carvalho beach to the Benagil caves and nearby natural formations called algars. The tour starts at Carvalho beach, which is surrounded by limestone cliffs and reached through a tunnel, allowing guests to avoid the crowds at Benagil beach located about five minutes away. Participants receive all necessary equipment including kayaks, paddles, life vests, and dry bags for personal items such as cameras and phones. Lower back seat support is provided for added comfort. Guides provide safety instructions and share information about local history, geology, and biodiversity throughout the trip.
