Overview

This small-group tour is a history pub crawl lasting about two hours and fifteen minutes in Philadelphia’s Old City neighborhood. Participants visit four iconic bars, stopping at each to hear stories about Philadelphia’s past from an expert local guide. The guide shares lesser-known historical facts, including information about a Founding Mother, Benjamin Franklin’s clever actions, and the spies involved in the American Revolution. The tour moves on foot between the bars, combining a walking tour with visits to these well-known local pubs. Drinks can be purchased at each bar, but none are included in the tour price. Food is not provided, so it is recommended to eat before the tour begins. Gratuities for the guide are not included but are suggested.
