Overview

The tour starts with a hotel pickup on Koh Lanta between 8:00 and 9:00 in the morning. Guests board a modern speed boat either directly from their hotel beach or from Saladan Pier, depending on the resort location. The boat is operated by a professional skipper and accompanied by an English-speaking guide. It takes less than one hour to reach the first snorkeling spot in the lagoon of Koh Haa, a group of six rocky islets located about halfway between Koh Lanta and Koh Rok. Guests snorkel in this lagoon for about one hour. Afterward, the boat continues to the twin islands of Koh Rok, which are part of Mu Ko Lanta National Park. These islands, Koh Rok Nai (the inner island) and Koh Rok Nok (the outer island), are separated by a 250-meter coral channel with reefs mostly within five meters of the surface. Guests snorkel in the channel for about 40 minutes. A Thai buffet lunch is served on the beach of Koh Rok Nok. Following lunch, guests have free time for about one and a half hours to walk along the white sandy beaches of Ao Man Sai, Laem Thong, and Sarn Chao, or to hike to the viewpoint at Pha Samed Daeng, which offers views north toward Koh Ngai and Koh Lanta. Another snorkeling session takes place at Koh Rok Nai for about one hour. On the return trip, the boat passes by Koh Rok Waterfall before heading back to Koh Lanta. The total duration of the tour is approximately seven and a half hours. Included in the tour are snorkeling equipment, life jackets, drinking water, fruit, a professional English-speaking guide, Thai buffet lunch, hotel transfers, and basic accident insurance. The national park entrance fee is not included and must be paid separately. The tour requires a minimum of 15 participants and may be subject to change due to weather and sea conditions.
