Overview

Snorkeling in Silfra is a truly unique experience, allowing you to swim between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates in crystal-clear glacial water. This once-in-a-lifetime adventure takes place in one of the world’s purest waters, with visibility exceeding 100 meters. The water originates from the Langjökull glacier, naturally filtered for decades through underground lava fields. Guided by experts, you’ll float through this breathtaking underwater landscape, admiring the vibrant blue hues and dramatic rock formations. After the tour, you’ll receive GoPro photos to capture your unforgettable journey. Silfra is the only place on Earth where you can snorkel between two continental plates, making it a must-do activity for adventure seekers and nature lovers visiting Iceland
