by My Splash - Sea Scooter Snorkeling Maui
This guided tour takes place at Wailea Beach in Maui, USA, and lasts about 90 minutes. The group begins on a 15-foot inflatable paddleboard that can hold 4 to 6 people with a combined weight up to 1,000 pounds. The guide, Triston, paddles from the beach to a snorkeling spot near Wailea Point, known for its coral-sea garden. Upon arrival, the paddleboard is stopped and snorkeling equipment is provided, including a snorkel, mask, fins, and a life jacket. The tour is designed to accommodate non-swimmers by providing life jackets and allowing participants to relax on the board if they prefer not to enter the water. Participants may choose to stay on the board or join family and friends in the water for snorkeling. Photos are taken throughout the tour and included in the experience.
Snorkeling-Intro-and-Practice
The snorkeling session begins on the beach where participants meet Triston, the guide and instructor. For 10 to 30 minutes, they stay in shallow water wearing life jackets, learning swimming, snorkeling, mask, and fins techniques with individual assistance if needed. This practice helps them become comfortable floating and breathing with a snorkel. Afterward, they board a 15-foot paddleboard to look for turtles and marine life. A full briefing on ocean safety and snorkeling gear, including high-quality goggles, is provided. The activity is suitable for non-swimmers, first-time snorkelers, and children.
