You'll also experience the magical Kamakura no Sato, a winter wonderland of illuminated snow huts, available exclusively from late January to Late February. Leave Tokyo for a day and head north to Nagano Prefecture! Enjoy a Japanese style set for lunch!

Please note that the lunch served will be "Beef Sukiyaki". If you do not wish to eat beef, please let us know an alternative when you make your reservation. Other meat options include pork instead of beef, vegetarian (including egg and dairy) or vegan (entirely plant-based). Fish and chicken are not available. After lunch, it will be time to see the famous monkeys of the Jigoku Valley, bathing in thermal water! Finally, behold the magic created by the kamakura snow huts being lighted up! Kamakura no Sato is only for a month from the end of January to the end of February (dates for year 2026 to be decided). Please note that from mid-March, monkeys may not enter the hot springs depending on the weather on that day. Even in late March, on days when it snows you are more likely to see monkeys. To ensure the smooth operation of the tour, we kindly request that you strictly adhere to the advised departure time. The tour will depart on schedule at the guide's discretion; please note that latecomers cannot join midway or receive a refund due to schedule constraints. The tour will be conducted in English. If you prefer Japanese, please write it in the remarks section when making your reservation.

Please note that the monkeys of Jigoku Valley are wild animals and might not be present when we visit the Jikoku valley. Do not engage with the monkeys and do not stare them in the eye as they might become violent. Please note that the monkeys do not spend the majority of their time in the water.
