This four-hour tour begins at the upper parking lot of Gullfoss waterfall. Participants travel in a 4x4 monster truck across the rugged terrain of the Icelandic Highlands toward Langjökull glacier. Upon arrival at the glacier, a professional guide provides a safety briefing and instructions for the snowmobile ride. The snowmobile portion lasts one hour and includes several stops along the way on the glacier. Each participant receives a winter suit, gloves, helmet, and buff for protection during the ride. The tour is designed for independent travelers visiting the Golden Circle who want to add a snowmobile ride to their itinerary. Food and drinks are not included. Solo riders must pay an additional fee to operate a snowmobile alone. The tour requires participants to be at least six years old, and children or teenagers must be accompanied by an adult. There are two passengers per snowmobile.
