Overview

This small-group day trip lasts about eight hours and travels by shared air-conditioned minivan from Naples to Sorrento and along the Amalfi Coast. The trip begins with pickup from your hotel or the cruise port in Naples, then heads south to Sorrento. Here, there is one hour of free time to walk around the town, visit Piazza Tasso, browse shops, or see the 15th-century cathedral. After Sorrento, the minivan follows the coastal road, offering views of lemon groves and the Mediterranean Sea on the way to Positano. Upon arrival, you have another hour to explore at your own pace, with options to visit boutiques, relax at a café, or see the Church of St Maria Assunta with its distinctive tiled dome. Next, the minivan stops in Amalfi for an hour of independent sightseeing. You can visit the 9th-century cathedral, shop in the town’s narrow streets, or have lunch at local restaurants (not included). The final stop is Ravello, located higher on the cliffs. You will be dropped off near the village center, which is pedestrian-only, and spend one hour there. Possible visits include the cathedral (Duomo) or Villa Rufolo and its gardens (entrance fees not included). The trip concludes with a return drive to Naples and drop-off at your original pickup location or another central spot in the city. Entrance fees, meals, and a guide are not included. The tour operates in all weather. Participants should be able to manage stairs in Amalfi and Ravello and wear comfortable shoes. Collapsible wheelchairs with removable wheels are allowed if the passenger has assistance boarding and exiting.
