Overview

This one-hour shared golf cart tour covers downtown St Augustine and the northern part of the colonial city. The open-air golf carts allow easy stops for photos and provide unobstructed views of landmarks. A certified guide leads the group and offers commentary throughout the tour. The route includes stops at Plaza de la Constitucion, Governors House, Cathedral Basilica of St Augustine, Bridge of Lions, Castillo de San Marcos National Monument, National Shrine of Our Lady of La Leche at Mission Nombre de Dios, Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park, Old Jail Museum, Huguenot Cemetery, Flagler College, Lincolnville Museum, Memorial Presbyterian Church, and the St Augustine Distillery. The group also enters the Lightner Museum building, formerly the Alcazar Hotel, to see the site of the largest indoor swimming pool of its time; the building now houses the museum and St Augustine’s city hall. The visit inside the Lightner Museum lasts about ten minutes. Complimentary photos taken during the tour are included. Gratuities are not included. Larger groups should contact the operator in advance.
