Overview

This 90-minute narrated trolley tour covers 23 miles of St. Louis and offers a thorough introduction to the city’s main attractions. The tour travels by trolley with air conditioning and includes stops and views of major landmarks. It begins by passing the Gateway Arch, known as "The Gateway to the West," followed by a look at Busch Stadium, home to the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team. The route continues through Forest Park, where visitors see the St. Louis Zoo, Muny Opera Amphitheater, Art Museum, and History Museum, most of which have free admission. The tour then passes the Saint Louis Art Museum and the well-known "Art Hill." There is a brief stop of about five minutes at the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis, which houses the largest collection of mosaics in the world, allowing time for photos when permitted by the Cathedral schedule. Other highlights include views of St. Louis Union Station, once the world’s largest train station, featuring a 200-foot-tall Ferris wheel and an aquarium. The City Museum is also visited - an interactive space with climbing and sliding activities for both adults and children. The tour passes the newest stadium opened in 2023, dedicated to soccer, and ends near the Scottrade Center, home of the St. Louis Blues hockey team and a venue for concerts and other events. This trolley tour is suitable for all ages and provides a broad overview of St. Louis landmarks and culture.
