This 90-minute private bamboo rafting trip takes place on the Roseau River, one of St. Lucia’s largest waterways near Soufriere. The ride moves gently through rainforest scenery where birds, butterflies, and tropical plants are visible along the banks. A personal guide shares detailed information about the river’s role as the island’s main water source and the surrounding ecosystem. Pass farms growing fruits and vegetables lining the river, and see mangrove areas noted for their natural state. During the trip, guests may taste fresh fruits such as sugar cane and coconut water. There is also an opportunity to try creole bread made from a homemade recipe on the riverbank. The tour includes umbrellas, bottled water, carbonated drinks, snacks, alcoholic beverages, and life jackets for safety. Alcoholic drinks are available only for guests aged 18 and over.
