Grand Cul-de-Sac Marin on Grande-Terre Island features a calm marine environment with mangroves providing a habitat for diverse species. This 2.5-hour stand-up paddle tour begins at Babin Beach, a quiet spot away from busy areas. After an introduction to paddleboarding, participants paddle along the mangrove-lined waterways toward Islet Macou. While standing on the board, paddlers move through clear waters with views of marine life and the complex mangrove ecosystem. The guide explains the ecological role of the mangroves and the species they shelter. The paddleboard allows access to narrow channels and tunnels formed by mangrove roots and branches, areas that boats cannot reach. The tour concludes with a break at a small cove where guests can enjoy homemade lemonade. The rental of a stand-up paddle board, paddle, leash, a photo report, and lemonade are included.
