This 2-hour Sunset Safari Eco Cruise departs daily from Cape May, New Jersey, from April through October aboard the Osprey. The cruise travels through the coastal salt marsh areas behind Cape May and Wildwood, where passengers can observe a variety of wildlife, especially bird species rarely seen up close. The captain adjusts the route each day based on weather and wildlife activity to increase the chances of sightings. Binoculars are provided for use during the cruise to help view the animals and birds in their natural habitat. The captain’s 25 years of experience navigating these waters guides the tour to areas with the most active wildlife during the sunset hours.

An evening cruise through the coastal Salt Marsh behind Cape May and Wildwood viewing the birds and marine life that live there. We get up close to many different species of birds with views that people rarely get to see of some of the secretive birds of the wetlands. Being out in the wetlands every day for six months gives us a unique ability to find and closely visit with many different species of birds.
