After the archaeological site, the group moves to Ortigia Island, the historic center of Syracuse. Here, the tour includes a walk around Fonte Aretusa, Maniace Castle, Piazza Duomo, the local market, Palazzo Montalto, and other notable landmarks. This part involves short walks and time to see several sites. In the afternoon, the tour continues to the town of Noto. Visitors see the Temple of Apollo, Porta Reale, Chiesa del Santissimo Crocifisso, Cattedrale di San Nicolo, and various palaces including Palazzo Modica di San Giovanni, Palazzo Landolina, Palazzo Trigona di Cannicarao, and Palazzo Astuto. The full-day walking tour lasts about eight hours. Included are a multilingual guide, entrance to the Archaeological Park of Neapolis, shuttle bus transport for the return trip, and a baby seat if an infant ticket is selected.
