Overview

This full-day private tour from New Delhi includes visits to three major sites in Agra: the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and the Tomb of Itmad-Ud-Daulah. The tour begins with pickup from your hotel or airport in Delhi, followed by a drive to Agra in a private air-conditioned car. Upon arrival, a private guide will take you first to the Taj Mahal, the white marble monument built by Emperor Shah Jahan for his wife Mumtaz Mahal. You will then visit Agra Fort, a large red sandstone fortress dating back to 1565, which blends Hindu and Central Asian architectural styles. After these visits, there will be a lunch break at a 5-star hotel offering local and international dishes (lunch is not included in the price). After lunch, the tour continues with a visit to the Tomb of Itmad-Ud-Daulah, also known as the Baby Taj, a marble mausoleum built by Noor Jahan for her father. The day concludes with transportation back to your hotel or airport in Delhi. The entire experience lasts about 12 hours and includes bottled water, hotel pickup and drop-off, and a private guide. Entrance fees to monuments are not included.
