Overview

Most visitors see the hinterland by day. This tour reveals the Gold Coast after dark. As dusk falls over Tamborine Mountain, join your expert guide on a rainforest walk lit by soft red torchlight. Look up, listen for nocturnal wildlife and share the excitement as the forest comes alive around your group. The trail leads to Curtis Falls, where glow worms are often seen lighting the rock face like stars. Your guide will help you spot their tiny blue-green lights and uncover the rainforest’s hidden nightlife. After the walk, warm up with cake and a hot drink before heading back down the mountain. Good for: couples, families with older children and night owls. Note: Torches, umbrellas and insect repellent provided. Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed.
