Overview

This full-day private tour lasts about eight hours and begins with an express ferry crossing from Tarifa to Tangier. After arriving in Tangier, the group travels by air-conditioned minivan with a licensed guide. The tour includes a visit to Cap Spartel lighthouse, where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean, followed by a stop at Parc Perdicaris, a forest known for its historical Perdicaris incident of 1904. The tour continues with a 30-minute visit to the Tangier Kasbah, a castle complex and former palace with gardens dating back to the 17th century. Next is a 20-minute stop at the Caves of Hercules, located near the King of Morocco's summer palace. The caves have sea and land entrances, with the sea entrance shaped like the African continent. Additional visits include the Place du Grand 9 Avril 1947, named after King Mohamed V's independence speech, and the Moshe Nahon Synagogue. The walking portion explores the Medina of Tangier, including Petite Socco square and local markets with crafts and traditional Moroccan life. The tour allows time for shopping and offers local restaurant recommendations. A camel ride on the beach is included before the return ferry crossing to Tarifa. Bottled water, local drinks such as Moroccan mint tea or coffee, and snacks are provided. This private trip is fully customizable and includes round-trip ferry tickets, port pickup and drop-off in Tangier, and skip-the-line access where available.
