Meet Instructor and Gear Up
Participants meet their surfing instructor on the beach and are provided with a wetsuit and surfboard appropriate for their size. They then walk down to the water’s edge for a safety briefing and warm-up exercises. After preparation, they begin their first session in the water with the goal of standing up on the board by the end.

Please meet at the Freewave Surf Academy trailer in Widemouth Bay carpark. Please DO NOT go to Blackrock carpark. Our trailer is located at the entrance to the beach. You will need to arrive 15 minutes before your session start time. One of our instructors will be there to meet you.
