The Escape Game New Jersey at American Dream in Newark offers seven escape rooms, including The Depths and Prison Break. Most rooms hold up to eight players, while the Playground room can accommodate up to twelve. Players work together to solve puzzles and follow clues to complete their mission within a 75-minute game session. Admission includes entry to one escape room adventure. The experience includes about 15 minutes before the game for preparation and briefing, followed by the 75-minute challenge. After the game, there is time for debriefing and photos. Each room has a locked door with an exit button that allows players to leave at any time if necessary. Games are designed to be exciting and accessible, avoiding scary or dark themes. Multiple groups may share a game unless all spots are booked to guarantee a private session. Participants should be at least 13 years old; players aged 14 or younger must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or older. Anyone under 18 must have an adult sign their waiver.

Escaping will require teamwork, communication, wits, a sense of adventure, and most importantly: YOU! Once you arrive, a dedicated game guide will take you on to your adventure and help you as needed. You will have exactly 60-minutes to complete the mission in your adventure and escape.
