Players start by entering the Escape Game Sunrise location inside Sawgrass Mills Mall in Fort Lauderdale, where five different escape rooms await. Each game lasts about 75 minutes, including time to prepare, play, and debrief. The escape rooms are designed for up to 8 players and include multiple rooms per adventure. One of the available games is Timeliner: Train Through Time, the newest addition. Participants work together to solve puzzles and follow clues to complete their mission. The games are family-friendly and do not feature scary or dark themes. Younger players are allowed but the puzzles may be challenging for them. An adult must accompany anyone age 14 or younger, and a waiver signed by an adult is required for those under 18. Each room has a locked door but includes an exit button for leaving at any time if necessary. Here’s how it works: You and your team will work together to find clues, solve puzzles, and ultimately complete a mission. Escaping will require teamwork, communication, wits, a sense of adventure, and most importantly: YOU! Once you arrive, a dedicated game guide will take you on to your adventure and help you as needed. You will have exactly 60-minutes to complete the mission in your adventure and escape.
