This escape room venue in The Colony is located inside Grandscape, offering easy access to many nearby restaurants such as LSA Burger Co., Davio's Northern Italian Steakhouse, and Velvet Taco. The attraction is suitable for groups from local areas like Frisco and Plano or visitors from outside the region. The Escape Game The Colony features seven different themed rooms, including The Depths, an underwater challenge, and Prison Break, their most difficult escape room. Each game involves multiple rooms and can accommodate up to 8 players, except for Playground, which holds up to 12. All rooms are family-friendly and designed for group problem-solving. The experience lasts about 75 minutes total, including 15 minutes to prepare and receive instructions, 60 minutes to complete the escape room, and 15 minutes afterward to review and take photos. Guests solve puzzles and follow clues to complete their mission during the adventure. The company provides fast customer support and claims their escape rooms have won awards. The atmosphere is adventurous and suitable for all guests, avoiding scary or dark themes. Unless a group reserves all spots, players may share the game with others.
