Opened in 1997, Taman Safari Prigen is Southeast Asia’s largest safari park, spanning more than 350 hectares in the lush Pasuruan region of East Java. What sets it apart from other animal attractions is its immersive safari concept—visitors can drive through different animal zones that mimic natural habitats, offering a unique "in-the-wild" experience. From close encounters with lions and zebras to thrilling amusement rides and water parks, Taman Safari Prigen has something for everyone. Weekdays are best to avoid large crowds, especially in the mornings around 9–11 AM when animals are fed and more active. Avoid weekends, school holidays, and long public holidays if you prefer shorter queues and a quieter experience. During rainy months (November–March), some outdoor activities may be limited.
