Overview
This half-day desert safari in Doha lasts about three to four hours and includes several activities in the desert along with a visit to the Inland Sea, also called Khor Al Adaid. The tour starts with pickup from Doha city center, hotels, or the airport. The first stop is Sealine Beach near the desert, where tea and coffee are served. A short camel ride is included for those who choose that option. Next, participants can try sandboarding on the desert dunes. After these activities, the tour continues with a drive of about 60 kilometers southeast of Doha to Khor Al Adaid, a UNESCO-recognized natural reserve where the sea extends into the heart of the desert. This area can only be reached by crossing sand dunes. Visitors spend time at Khor Al Udaid Beach, exploring the inlet and observing local wildlife such as turtles, ospreys, Arabian gazelles, and migratory birds. Bottled water, tea, and coffee are provided throughout the tour. For those who select the second option, a 20-minute quad bike ride on a 250 cc vehicle is available for an additional fee. The tour ends with drop-off back in Doha.
