Overview

This is an immersive 3-day tour of Northwestern Yunnan, connecting the core scenic spots of Lijiang and Shangri-La, and deeply experiencing the charm of nature and culture: Departing from Lijiang, the first stop is Tiger Leaping Gorge, where the Jinsha River surges through the gorge. Journey to the Baima Snow Mountain Pass, where you can overlook the misty snow peaks. Arrive at Feilai Temple in the evening and check into a view hotel to wait for the spectacular "Golden Mountain Sunrise" the next day. (Weather permitting) Wake up early to watch the Meili Snow Mountain Golden Mountain Sunrise, with golden brilliance covering the snow peaks; transfer to Wunongding to enjoy a different perspective of the snow-capped mountains and villages in the same frame. In the afternoon, stroll through Pudacuo National Park, where spruce forests and Shudu Lake outline the plateau's ecology, and immerse yourself in the wild nature. In the evening, enjoy a Tusi banquet, a Tibetan-style copper hot pot meal with a bonfire, experience the ethnic food culture, and then check into a business hotel for rest. On the third day, explore Dukezong Ancient City, turn the millennium-old prayer wheel, and listen to the sound of the prayer flags; head to Yila Prairie to see the pastoral scenery of cattle and sheep wandering and the mountains connecting the sky. Return to Lijiang in the afternoon. Please arrive at the location 10 mins before the departure time [Attraction/experience] Self-guided, Tiger Leaping Gorge, Tiger Leaping Gorge is located in the southeast of Zhongdian, 105 kilometers away from Zhongdian County and 35 kilometers away from the First Bend of the Yangtze River. It is divided into three sections: Upper Tiger Leaping Gorge, Middle Tiger Leaping Gorge, and Lower Tiger Leaping Gorge, with a total of 18 dangerous shoals. The narrowest part of the river is only 30 meters wide. The river is flanked by the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and Haba Snow Mountain, with an altitude difference of more than 3900 meters. The canyon is extremely deep. [Attraction/experience] Yila Grassland, Napa Lake, also known as Yila Prairie, is a seasonal alpine lake located in Shangri-La City, Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. It is situated 8 kilometers northwest of the county seat, with an altitude of 3266 meters. It is surrounded by mountains on three sides, with peak elevations ranging from 3800-4449 meters. Located in Shangri-La County, Diqing Prefecture, Yunnan Province, Dukezong Ancient Town is an ancient city with a history of over 1300 years. [Attraction/experience] Turtle Mountain Park, Guishan Park was established during the reign of Emperor Kangxi. The park is built on a mountain, and at the summit is Chaoyang Tower, a three-story structure. Ascending to the top of the tower, one can see the entire Riyue City. At the foot of the mountain is an ancient well that provides drinking water for the entire town, known for its pure and sweet taste.
