Tave Kosi Cooking Class

Participants learn to prepare Tave Kosi, a distinctive Albanian dish. This recipe, historically called the "Independence Dish," was favored by Ismail Qemali, Albania's first Prime Minister after 1912 independence. The dish is traditionally served warm in its original bowl. It can be made year-round with simple ingredients. Although both lamb and veal are options, the traditional version uses lamb to maintain authentic flavors.
