This one-hour workshop in Tokyo offers a chance to make your own wooden chopsticks using traditional tools and methods. The session takes place in Ginza and includes instruction on the cultural role of chopsticks in Japan. You can select from more than ten types of wood to craft your personalized pair, with three types available at no extra cost. The workshop is guided by English-speaking staff and provides all necessary materials. At the end, you take home your finished chopsticks as a personal keepsake or gift.

You can choose from four convenient locations: Shinjuku, Shibuya, Asakusa, or Ginza. Experience traditional Japanese craftsmanship by creating your own handmade chopsticks. Choose your favorite from more than 10 types of wood, each with its own unique color, grain, weight, and character. Then, shape, sand, smooth, and oil your chopsticks by hand with guidance from our friendly English-speaking staff. Make your creation even more special with custom name engraving. Use our original Kanji dictionary to transform your name into unique Japanese Kanji, and watch your chopsticks being engraved in front of you. Take your finished chopsticks home the same day as a unique and personal souvenir from Japan.No previous experience is needed, and families and beginners are welcome.
