If the Fuji Subaru Line is closed, we will visit Oshino Hakkai Village, Arakura Sengen Shrine, or Fujisan World Heritage Center. Also, due to traffic conditions and timing, some stops may be skipped altogether. The Hakone Ropeway and the Hakone Pirate Ship on Lake Ashi may not operate due to various reasons (high winds, heavy rain, sudden maintenance). We may visit an alternative place (also to respect the schedule on days characterized by heavy traffic) such as Lake Kawaguchi, Komagatake Ropeway, Lake Ashi Cruise, Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway, Hakone-en, Hakone Checkpoint, Hakone Shrine, etc. Please note that no refunds will be given for weather or schedule changes made by the tour guide or any of our staff. If you choose to return by bullet train, please note that there are no reserved seats and you will only use the unreserved cars. There are 2 trains per hour from Odawara to Tokyo. Also, the guide will NOT ride the train to Tokyo with you. Let us know if you have special dietary needs. Unfortunately we do not provide gluten free meals, but we can accommodate most of the allergy requests. Please note that if you arrive late to the meeting point, we're unable to allow you to join the tour midway due to tour schedule constraints.

As it can get cold in the mountains, please be sure to bring warm clothes with you. In case the arrival time to Tokyo is delayed due to traffic conditions or other reasons, we will not be responsible for taxi fares, overnight accommodations, or other expenses. When there are only small group of participants, instead of big bus, other vehicles with smaller size might may be utilized. In addition, please note that regardless of the returning method to Tokyo, all participants will depart by using the same vehicle. Please note that our standard tour buses are not equipped with wheelchair lifts or ramps. You will require assistance from your own accompanying person(s) for boarding and alighting the bus. If you use a folding wheelchair, it can generally be stored in the luggage compartment of the bus. However, as storage space varies by bus size, please be sure to inform us when booking to confirm storage availability.
