This four-hour and ten-minute tour in Kawasaki offers an authentic sumo experience inside a real sumo stable, also called the sumo sanctuary. The tour begins with entering the stable, where a certified MagicalTrip guide explains the history and traditions of sumo wrestling and provides tips for watching official sumo matches. Participants can watch sumo wrestlers train and, if they choose, take part in a friendly sumo match with a rikishi wrestler. This opportunity is open to women and children. After the training session, guests help prepare chicken dumplings for chanko-nabe, a nutritious dish eaten by sumo wrestlers to build strength. The group then shares this lunch together with the wrestlers. The guide takes photos throughout the experience, and each participant receives a specially designed T-shirt as a keepsake. The sumo stable is conveniently located about ten minutes from Yokohama Station, twenty minutes from Tokyo Station, and thirty minutes from Shinjuku Station.
