Overview

Learn the art of sushi-making in a cozy kitchen near Ikebukuro, just two minutes from the nearest station. Led by Chef Kodaira, a professional chef with over 10 years of experience at a kappo-style restaurant, this hands-on class teaches you three classic sushi styles: nigiri, gunkan maki, and maki rolls. With support from an English-speaking interpreter, prepare sushi rice, work with fresh seasonal ingredients, and learn sushi etiquette, including soy sauce use and chopstick manners. Enjoy your handmade sushi with miso soup, then whisk your own matcha and pair it with traditional Japanese sweets. Small-group session create a relaxed, personalized experience while giving you practical skills to recreate authentic sushi at home.
