by Cooking With Chef FATIMA
This four-hour cooking class in Essaouira begins with a meeting point at Place de l'Horloge in the old medina. The group walks through the local markets to buy fresh ingredients directly from the vendors. After shopping, participants return to a home setting where Moroccan mint tea is served. The instructor then demonstrates how to prepare couscous step by step, sharing recipes passed down from her grandmother. Once the cooking is finished, everyone tastes the dishes alongside Berber mint tea, learning the secret to making it well. This class offers a hands-on experience focused on traditional Moroccan home cooking.
