Overview
The tour begins with a private transfer from Mexico City to the trailhead between the volcanoes Iztaccihuatl and Popocatepetl. Participants spend about nine hours hiking in this area, walking through forests and near glaciated peaks. The route passes fumaroles of the active Popocatepetl volcano and offers views of several major Mexican volcanoes. The company provides trekking poles, backpacks containing lunch, and guides carry all necessary safety gear. Lunch is included during the hike. Gratuities are not covered.

Iztaccihuatl-Popocatepetl Trek
The journey begins with a pickup in Mexico City followed by a drive to Iztaccihuatl-Popocatepetl National Park. The trek starts at Paso de Cortes, crossing a forest with Iztaccihuatl visible ahead. The route ascends to Cerro Altzomoni for views of Popocatepetl and its fumarole, then descends to the Amalacaxco ravine to observe local flora and possibly fauna, ending back at Paso de Cortes. Equipment is provided for the trek. On the return, there is a stop for lunch at a traditional market.
