Overview
The tour begins with a meeting in central Tromso, where participants board a minibus to chase the Northern Lights. The guide monitors weather and aurora forecasts throughout the 6 to 7-hour tour, driving to locations with the best chances of clear skies. The route may include stops at places such as Hansnes, Kilpisjarvi, Bardufoss, and Sommaroy, and can extend as far as the Finnish and Swedish borders if necessary. At each stop, the group looks for the Northern Lights and photographs the surroundings. Thermal suits are provided to keep warm, along with hot chocolate, tea, and snacks. When conditions allow, a bonfire may be lit for additional warmth. The guide, who is also a professional photographer, takes high-quality photos of guests under the aurora and shares two selected images after the tour. Boots, gloves, and hats are not included, and no main meal is provided. The tour ends with a drop-off at the participant’s accommodation in Tromso.

Tromso

Meeting point
The meeting point is the yellow building on the pier, entrance facing the sea. From Fr. Nansen Plass, walk past the gas station on your left to a gate with a parking sign. Enter the open pier area with boats, where the yellow building with parking and tour signs is located.
End point
Drop-off locations at the end of the tour include Tromsdalen, Reinen, Tromsø Island, and Kvaløysletta. If you are staying outside these areas, your guide will assist you in arranging a taxi from one of the designated drop-off points.
