Overview

This full-day Troodos Mountains Vino Venture begins with pickup from a chosen location in Paphos. Participants travel by air-conditioned vehicle through the mountain villages to visit three award-winning family-owned wineries. At each winery, guests meet the winemakers and taste a selection of white, rosé, red, and sun-dried sweet wines. Two of the wineries include guided tours of their premises to explain the wine-making process and the history of wine production in Cyprus. The tour also includes a visit to the Chrysorrogiatissa Monastery, founded in 1152 and rebuilt in 1770, where visitors can explore the grounds and the monastery’s wine cellar. Lunch is served at a village tavern in Polemi or another nearby village, depending on the route, featuring a traditional meze accompanied by local wine and bottled water. The entire experience lasts about seven hours and includes door-to-door transport, all wine tastings, lunch with drinks, and a bilingual local guide trained in Cypriot food and wine. The itinerary and wineries visited may vary by season. Cruise ship passengers booking through Viator or Tripadvisor are not accepted on this tour.
