For morning sessions, participants are picked up from hotels in central Ubud and taken to a traditional market for a 30-minute tour where they can select ingredients themselves. Afternoon classes begin with a meet-up at 2:30 PM in front of Lapangan Desa Ubud. After the market visit (morning only), or directly for afternoon classes, students receive their own cooking station and utensils. The vegetarian menu includes Sauce Kacang (peanut sauce), Bumbu Bali (Balinese spice paste), Kare Sayur (vegetable curry), vegetable satay with peanut sauce, Pepes Mushroom (grilled mushrooms in banana leaf), and Mie Goreng (fried noodles). The non-vegetarian option features Sauce Kacang, Bumbu Bali, Ayam Bumbu Bali (Balinese fried chicken), chicken satay with peanut sauce, Pepes Ikan (grilled fish in banana leaf), and Mie Goreng. Both menus finish with Kolak Pisang, a dessert of braised banana saba in palm sugar gravy. Once cooking is complete, participants eat the dishes they prepared in a dining room overlooking a farm. The class includes all cooking tools, ingredients, and a welcome drink or mineral water.
