Overview

This four-hour tour navigates the Beagle Channel aboard the 15-meter yachts KAMS and TELIENKA, which allow close approaches to islands for wildlife observation. The route includes visits to Isla Alicia, Isla de Pájaros, and Isla de Lobos, where participants observe marine animals and birds native to the channel. The tour stops for about 15 minutes at the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, built in 1919, where the guide explains its significance to Ushuaia. At the end of the navigation, participants disembark at Isla Bridges for a 30-minute minitrekking walk along a nature trail. During this walk, the guide describes the island’s flora and bird species and shares information about the Yámana indigenous people. Isla Bridges also features the largest human-made Yámana shell middens in the region. The minitrekking ends at a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the Beagle Channel and Ushuaia city in the distance. Tea and coffee are included during the tour. Breakfast is not provided. This tour is not recommended for travelers with reduced mobility.
