Overview

The tour begins in Paris with a group cycling together to the Versailles Domain, including the town and the palace grounds. The guide travels by train to Versailles to meet the group. Upon arrival, the tour starts with a 10-minute stop to view the exterior of the Palace of Versailles. Participants then enter the estate to briefly see part of the royal gardens. The group cycles through the town of Versailles, including a visit to the local market where participants can buy food for a picnic lunch. Afterward, there is about one hour spent walking and exploring Marie Antoinette's Hamlet and the Grand and Petit Trianon estates, with the guide providing information. A 45-minute lunch break takes place at the Grand Canal, where participants eat the food they purchased. The group then returns to the Chateau itself. While the guide does not accompany participants inside the palace, entry tickets are included. Visitors can use a free audio guide to learn about the Hall of Mirrors and other parts of the palace. After the bike portion ends, participants have time to explore the palace interiors at their own pace. The tour concludes with a return to Paris by train using the provided round-trip tickets. The total duration is about eight and a half hours. Included are bike and helmet rental, entry tickets to the palace, royal gardens, Trianons, and Marie Antoinette's Hamlet, round-trip train tickets, and a guide. Food, drinks, hotel transfers, and gratuities are not included.
